It seems our driver, David M. Feliciano will be extra busy this coming weekend with not one, but 2 drift events he will be joining one after the other! That’s actually not out of the ordinary and it has already happened before. The difference lies in the actual locations of these 2 back to back events.
MFest Philippines Drift Series, comprising of three (3) competitions with accumulated series points, will kick off at Clark International Speedway this coming Saturday, April 12, 2014. Clazrk, Pampanga is a good 1 hr -1.5 hrs drive away from Manila.

Then on April 13, Sunday, David will be joining the 1st Round of the 2014 Proline Drift Series presented by Upshift which will be held in *wait for it* Guam International Raceway. Yep, Guam is way across the Pacific, east of our country. It’s a good 1,623 miles from each other!
Looks like the only recourse for him to be able to join both events is to drive as fast as he can back to Manila first (soon as MFest is done), then from there, traverse through the perennial gridlock going to NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) in order for him to try and catch his flight straight to Guam. The word “hectic” would be an understatement.

Were all hoping and praying that he will be able to do this without a hitch, to arrive at Guam safely and be able to get enough rest before the start of the comp where he will be piloting the “Cars Plus Guam” Hyundai Genesis Drift car.

DMF will be the lone Filipino competing along with other PRO drifters from Japan (D1GP and Formula D US) at the 1st Round of the 2014 Proline Drift Series that will also feature local drivers from Guam. He has been invited to join this event by Mr. Tom Akigami of Upshift Guam.
The 1st Round of the drift series will run alongside other motorsport competitions at the Smokin’ Wheels event happening this April 13, 2014.
David M. Feliciano who has already represented the Philippines before at Formula Drift Asia, is also sponsored by Tonnka, ROTA, Brembo, Sabelt, DuPont, Motul, SPY, Racks and Aguila Auto Glass.
